ABOUT
Morgan Byers is a passionate producer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and audio engineer. His works range from pop, dance, and electronic, to synthwave and orchestral. Collaborating with other creatives is Morgan's greatest passion, and he enjoys working with the amazing artists, musicians, and other storytellers of the world.
Creativity
Morgan grew up in Northern CA, starting on violin at age 5 before taking up the piano, organ, and later cello. After playing as an orchestral cellist and participating in competitions, Morgan changed his focus to becoming a producer and audio engineer, and became a recording studio intern. Morgan would continue to collect and build instruments over the years, and is self taught on synths, guitar, bass, Irish whistles, percussion, keyboards and many other instruments. He recently completed a modular synthesizer that he designed and built himself.
Inspirations
Morgan Byers attended the Hollywood Music Workshop in Austria and studied under film composer Joe Kraemer (Mission Impossible, Rogue Nation). Morgan's other mentors include Scott Healy (The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien) and Bob Magnuson (B.B. King, Frank Zappa's Universe.)
